Adrienne Vallejo Foster Announces
Campaign Team and Finance Committee
Team includes strategist John Brabender and Finance Committee members Rep. Todd Tiahrt, Robert Meyers and Rosana Privitera Biondo
(ROELAND PARK, KS) – Adrienne Vallejo Foster, former Mayor of Roeland Park and a Small Business Administration official who is running for Kansas’ Third Congressional district seat, today announced the members of her campaign team and campaign finance committee.
“I’m thrilled to have such an outstanding and experienced team. Their depth and breadth of experience and expertise in business, campaigns and public service will be invaluable as I work to defeat Sharice Davids in November. I am excited that our Finance Committee members have dedicated themselves to the campaign. Collectively, they have more than 150 years of business experience in Kansas,” Foster said.
Key campaign team members include Regina Inglin, Campaign Manager, and Melissa Ward, Organizational Director. John Brabender, a seasoned Republican consultant who was the senior advisor and media consultant for Rick Santorum's 2016 presidential campaign, will serve as a general consultant. John Hart, a native of the 3rd district and former U.S. Senator Tom Coburn’s longtime Communications Director, will serve as a communications consultant. Rochelle Bird, a member of the Kansas GOP Executive Committee and founder of Gemini Financial Advisors, LLC, will serve as the campaign’s fundraising coordinator.

John Brabender is the Managing Partner and Chief Creative Officer of BrabenderCox, a national political consulting and advertising firm. He has served as a campaign and advertising consultant in nearly every state.
After winning 18 of 21 races in the 1994 election cycle, John was named one of the "Rising Stars of 1996" by Campaigns & Elections Magazine. In addition to teaching courses on advertising and the media at the Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism at West Virginia University, John has appeared on numerous network shows including Talk of the Nation and Politically Incorrect.
John Hart is the founder and CEO of Mars Hill Strategies, a public relations and consulting firm. Hart is a native of the 3rd district and graduate of Kansas State University and the University of Kansas.
Hart served as U.S. Senator Tom Coburn’s longtime Communications Director. He co-wrote two books with Coburn and has appeared as a guest commentator on leading cable and radio outlets including Fox News, MSNBC, CNN and Sirius XM. His pieces have been published at outlets including Politico, Forbes, National Review, the Washington Examiner, the Hill and more.

Rochelle Bird is the founder of Gemini Financial Advisors, LLC, based in Overland Park, Kansas. She has also worked as a Legislative Aide and an elected City Council Member and she recently ran for the Kansas State House of Representatives 27th District. A featured contributor on the Darla Jaye Radio Show, Rochelle provided political analysis and commentary on current affairs.
Rochelle is presently a member of the Kansas GOP Executive Committee and Eisenhower Women’s Leadership Series. She is also a Board Member with Pawsitive Tails Animal Rescue.
Melissa Ward brings experience in grassroots campaigning, developing content for social media messaging and strategic planning to her role on the Foster team. Her campaign experience includes:
Melissa has utilized her advocacy skills assisting in various Kansas State agencies. During her time with the Kansas Department for Children and Families she was selected for the Leadership Team and helped advance the HOPE Act.
She is an alumna of the Eisenhower Women’s Leadership Series of Excellence.
Regina is a graduate of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute's Journalism Program, the Leadership Institute's Campaign Program and has a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Dallas. Like Adrienne, she comes from a large family. With her background in communications, she is a valued member of the campaign’s strategic planning team. Regina loves reading, traveling and is an aspiring screenwriter.

Rosana Privitera Biondo and her three siblings have been running the company since Carl’s retirement in 1994.

In addition to his private sector accomplishments, Robert served as a Roeland Park Council Member (2007 to 2014).

A former Congressman, Todd Tiahrt served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1995 to 2011. Following his public service, he established Todd Tiahrt, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in aviation/aerospace, defense, energy and government relations with the objective of sustaining and creating American jobs.
Charlotte O’Hara ~ Real Estate Developer/Entrepreneur
Charlotte O’Hara served as a Representative for the Kansas State House of Representatives 27th District (2011-2013) and is a former candidate for the U.S. Congressional 3rd District. She has also been a Republican Precinct Committeewoman in Johnson County.

Laura Owen is a former Branch Manager for the Midwest region of Stephens, Inc., one of the largest privately held investment banks in the country. She has the distinction of being the first woman appointed Kansas Secretary of Commerce (1991-1992). During her tenure, she led efforts to increase international trade, industrial development and tourism. She is the founder of the following companies:

Richard Fancher ~ Veteran/Entrepreneur/Financial Advisor
Richard Fancher is a Vietnam veteran, serving in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1966 to 1972. He then embarked on a successful career with New York Life Insurance and eventually became a business owner himself. With almost 45 years in the financial advising industry, Richard is the owner of Fancher Financial Services. In addition to his private sector experience, Richard served as a Board Member for Blue Valley School District (1982 to 1992) and was a candidate for the Kansas State Senate, 11th District (1996).
Robert Olvera ~ Financial Advisor
Robert Olvera has resided in Johnson County since 1989. He is an investment advisor representative, with 16 years of experience in the financial advising and insurance industries. Robert is the immediate Past President and active Board Member with the Kansas Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). He has also served as President for the NAIFA Johnson-Wyandotte Chapter. Robert’s wife Katie has taught for 18 years in the Olathe School District.
